Stress training - Down Stress
Reducing stress is something that you have to do, you cant take a pill to make many stresses go away. This is a list of things that are important to practice in order to reduce stress.
- Dont delay relaxation, do it every day.
- Organize time well and delegate tasks. Leave spare time for emergencies.
- Work off stress by doing some physical activity.
- Negotiate and recognize what cannot be changed.
- Sleep is a key to getting over stress, so dont short-change yourself by cutting into sleep time.
- Tiredness can go unrecognized, especially when under pressure.
- Restrict use of alcohol, nicotine, coffee, and medications such as tranquillizers.
- Establish regular, agreeable relaxations, such as walking the dog.
- Say no now. This will prevent pressure in the future.
- Sickness should not be ignored or worked through.
